We make no secret here at Vice Press that Kevin Smith is one of our favourite film makers. His films have resonated with us since we first watched them back in our teens and continue to be a source of unadulterated joy. Combining slacker culture, the ups and downs of teenage love, coming to terms with growing up, Sega and of course, Comics, Mallrats was a film that perfectly mirrored that time in our lives.
George Bletsis perfectly captures the energy of Mallrats in this latest release that cleverly frames elements from the film that Kevin Smith fans will no doubt love. This piece has a real place in our hearts and we are thrilled to be releasing it.
Produced in collaboration with Bottleneck Gallery, these officially licensed prints will feature both a regular edition along with a "Magic Eye" foil variant. UK and EU customers will be able to purchase both versions via our website, while all other international customers can pick up the regular from Vice Press and the variant exclusively from Sideshow.
Mallrats by George Bletsis will be available at 6pm BST/ 1pm Eastern, on Tuesday the 14th of September.
