John Carpenter Series by Matt Ferguson & Florey
A couple of years back we released a set of quad prints for John Carpenter's Escape from New York, Prince of Darkness, The Fog and They Live by Matt Ferguson. The response at the time was great but we received a lot of feedback and demand for smaller versions of the artwork. In response to this, Matt has revisited the art for a series of A2 prints released as part of Vice Press Editions and to go along with the prints, we are also releasing a series of incredible limited edition pins and collectible coins by Florey! There will also be an exclusive John Carpenter chaser pin included as part of selected packs and a set of variant coins exclusive to Zavvi!
The idea and principle behind Vice Press Editions is to release new, open edition artwork rather than revisiting former releases, however with this set we made an exception as the artwork will be fundamentally unique to the original, timed quads.
To coincide with the release, at 8pm Monday the 30th of December, Vice Press will be premiering a new episode of their Open Channel on YouTube. Co-hosted by Tom Luther of Drop, Matt Ferguson and James Henshaw of Vice Press will be joined by artist Florey to discuss this release and the films of John Carpenter. Matt and James will also be on hand to answer questions live in the YouTube chat stream!
This series of prints, coins and pins will be available to pre-order on Vice Press from 5pm GMT on Tuesday the 1st of December. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for orders to be despatched.
