    Dedicated to poster collecting, the Open House Poster Convention & Social includes some of the UK's best artists, designers, makers & independent vendors selling movie posters, art prints, t-shirts, vinyl, Blu-ray & UHD & more!

    Throughout the day you can also drop into the Podcast Lounge and join Mark Woodyatt from the Mark & Me Podcast who will be hosting a series of chats and live podcast records with artists.

    You will be able to grab a drink from the bar, and pick up some food from local, independent vendors, with plenty of space to sit down, chill out & catch up with the rest of the Vice Press community!

    Advanced tickets are now SOLD OUT.

    Tickets will also be available on the door, subject to venue capacity, but will not include a goodie bag.

    Under 12’s tickets are free with an accompanying general admission ticket.

  • Celluloid Screams x Vice Press Presents: RoboCop (1987) Screening & Poster By Matt Ferguson

    8pm on Saturday the 8th of June

    This year we have partnered with Celluloid Screams to host a very special screening of RoboCop (1987) & everyone attending the screening will get a FREE RoboCop 24x36 inch movie poster by Matt Ferguson. Available in collaboration with MGM Amazon Studios & Park Circus, this poster is exclusive to the screening and will not be for sale or available by any other means, so be sure to grab a ticket!

    The convention afterparty will also take place in The Showroom Cafe Bar from 6pm, where attendees can also get 10% off hot drinks and 20% off food all day on the Saturday with a wristband.

    Posters must be collected in person by the ticket holder. Strictly one poster per attendee/ ticket. Posters cannot be collected on behalf of non-attendees.

    This year's Open House tee has been designed by Sheffield based artist Tom J. Newell and is printed by the awesome Rogue Print Co.

    Tom is an artist we have known for a long time, and we are honoured to have him take the time to produce this brilliant design.

    As with last year, all profits from the sales of the tee will be donated to The Children's Hospital Charity, Sheffield.

    Both Tom and Rogue Print Co will also be in attendance at Open House this year, and you can get your tickets now! If you are coming to Open House, you can order your t-shirt to pick up on the day to guarantee your size. Orders placed that require shipping may not be despatched until after the event.

The Steamworks is an old industrial building located near Bramall Lane, Sheffield.

The main pedestrian entrance is to the front of the venue on Randall Street. The venue is wheelchair accessible but If you have trouble using stairs, or require step free access, please let us know and one of our volunteers can show you to the step free entrance.

Yes! We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance but tickets will be available on the door on the day. 

We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy Open House, but due to venue capacity limits, if we do reach capacity we will provide priority access to attendees who have purchased a General Admission tickets in advance.


General Admission tickets purchased online in advance will allow guaranteed access up to 5:30pm on the day.


Open House is an all ages event. Under 12’s tickets are free when purchased with an accompanying general admission ticket. We may ask for ID for Under 12's and all attendees must have a ticket.


We know you will be excited to get in, but to allow us to comply with local health and safety regulations, we kindly ask that attendees to queue in a safe manner and respect the access requirements of other local businesses.


Yes! We will email you a ticket as soon as you which you can either print and bring along, add to your Apple Wallet, or just show us from your emails on your phone. Please do not screen grab your ticket as it may not scan. 


Attendees leaving the venue before 5pm will be allowed re-entry to the venue up until 5:30pm.


All tickets are non-refundable.


By Bus
From the Sheffield Interchange, services 47 and 48 will take you to Shoreham Street. Service 53 (Low Edges) will take you to Queens Road. 
From Arundel Gate service numbers 33, 43, 44/44a (Chesterfield) or 252 will take you to Bramall Lane. 
From High Street, services 20/20a, 25/25a, 75, 76, 97 & 98 will take you to London Road/John Street.

The Steamworks is around 12 - 15 minutes walk from Sheffield Railway Station (less than one mile).

By Tram
The Steamworks is approximately a 10 minute walk from Granville Road (Sheffield College) Tram Stop. 
This stop is served by the Blue and Purple routes from the city centre bound for Halfway and Herdings Park respectively.

The film screening will require a separate ticket, which will be available directly from The Showroom. We will be announcing more details on this shortly.


The Steamworks has a fully licensed bar offering draft and canned beers, spirits and other alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks. We will also have a small selection of local, independent food vendors on site.

For something more substantial, the venue is just a 5 - 10 minute walk from pubs, bars and restaurants in Sheffield City Centre. 


Yes! There is no ticket needed. However, to get 10% off hot drinks and 20% off food all day on the Saturday, you will need to be wearing your Open House 2024 wristband.
