Over the past few year’s, Star Trek has seen a triumphant return to the small screen with fantastic series including Discovery, Picard and Lower Decks and we wanted to celebrate this with our latest releases.

Season 3 of Picard saw the return of a number of fan favourite characters, including most of the crew of Star Trek: The Next Generation. While also closing out the story set out in Season’s 1 and 2, series 3 also revisited Picard’s past along with setting up a future for many new characters.

For this release we have teamed up with long time Vice Press friend, and renowned Star Trek artist, Paul Shipper, to release his Key Art produced for Season 3 of the show..

I have had the great pleasure of working on official Star Trek art since 2013, creating covers for IDW comic series KHAN following on from the film Star Trek: Into Darkness. Since then, I have been quite constantly working on various Star Trek projects spanning the last 10 years, from more comic book covers (Star Trek: City on the Edge of Forever) to Licensing Art for Star Trek: Discovery, to celebrating the Original Series for the 50th Anniversary Gallery Show, up to today where I am illustrating the Key Art for Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard. I got to work on the initial Key Art for the Premiere and then asked to create another piece of Key art for the Finalé, which is the piece that Vice Press are releasing. I am so pleased that the Picard work will be made available in this way so it can live long and prosper on the walls of the all the fans who loved the show!” – Artist Paul Shipper

Star Trek: Picardby Paul Shipper will initially be available in a regular edition of 175 sized 24x36 inches, and foil edition of 150, also sized 24x36 inches.

Star Trek: Lower Decks has just finished its fourth season and over the past few years has leant into the fun of the show with it’s key art, which has cleverly nodded to Star Trek’s legacy of film posters. This release will see all four season’s key art get the fine art print treatment as part of our Editions range.

Star Trek: Picard by Paul Shipper and Lower Decks Season 1 – 4 Key Art will be available exclusively from Vice Press on Thursday the 30^th of November at 6pm GMT (UK)/ 1pm EST/ 10am PST (US).
